Elektron Tonverk: Piano Ostinato into Electronic Sequence
Tonverk sound design using piano samples, parameter locks, per-step modulation and simple effects to create evolving electronic sequence from acoustic source material. In this video, we explore how modulation over time can transform basic piano pattern into something more rhythmic, animated and electronic. Instead of building huge effects chain, we focus on parameter locks and subtle changes across Elektron sequencer. Piano sample comes from multisampled acoustic upright piano instrument, which has natural artifacts, mechanical noise and note-to-note variation.
